• Umar bin Al-Khattab bin Nufail bin Abdul Uzza.

• Descendant of Bani A’di, Quraisy.

• Birth in 584 AD, 13 years after Rasulullah SAW got birth.

• Born in Mecca.

• Became the second Khalifah of the Khulafa 'Arrashidin began, 22 Jamadil Akhir year 13 AH, equivalent to 23 August 634 AD.

• Reigned for 10 years 6 months.

• Died in the month of Zulhijjah on 23 AH when he was 63 years old.

• Killed by a Persian Magian servant named Fairuz (Abu Lu'lu'ah).

• The title of Al-Faruq (Separator between right and wrong).

• Embrace Islam at the age of 33 years.

• Boldly declared his Islam to the Arab community without the slightest fear.

Umar Al Khattab is my idol in Islam because he is brave instead did many contributions for ummah without hesitation and has faith in Islam in his life forever.

Pros and Cons Our Usrah Budi Class .

 

Pros	Cons
1. Know each other.  -Strengthen the acquaintance between friends and respect others’ capabilities.	1. Shyness.  -Hide the difficult problems and confront them without any guidance from others.
2. Learn new things.   -Naqib always gives the tazkirah to other members about our daily life in terms of all laws in Islam(Syariah Islamiyah).	2. Distraction.  -Busy doing useless or other things or playing games with another friend.
3. Helping each other.  -Reduce others’ burdens by doing things effectively.	3. Loneliness.  -Have not any ideas to sum up and lack of experience to do the action.
4. Open-minded.  -Combine the opinions and do the work equally.	4. Egoistic.  -Gives the opinion by him or herself to do the work without hearing others.
5. Improve speaking skills.  -Soft-spoken must be applied when needed to the conservation with friends.	5. Poor communication skills.  -Always use mixed language with their friends and do not know how to interact with other people through speaking.

For me, I really enjoy this class. It makes me think about feelings by other people, their percent skills, teamwork as usrah and so on. Then, I can develop my new knowledge from tazkirah given by our naqib every week.
